Job summary

Krispy Kreme is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Doughnut Factory in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will ensure doughnut making equipment and the factory remain in top condition, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to keep production on schedule.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of industrial plant experience or related technical training. PPE use and potential welding/fabrication are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical and welding aptitude.
• Experience with industrial plant maintenance preferred.
• Completion of a technical program or related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on doughnut-making equipment and facility.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate PPE and assemble mechanical/electrical components; welding/fabrication as needed.
• Maintain and follow Preventative Maintenance Calendar to stay on track.
