Job summary

Parlor Doughnuts, a craft doughnut and coffee shop in Florida, is seeking an energetic team member to hand craft layered doughnuts from start to finish and help maintain a full display that meets Parlor standards.

Duties include preparing doughnuts, frying and decorating, collaborating with teammates to run fryers smoothly, keeping the kitchen clean, assisting front of house with orders, and upholding food safety while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques.
• Strong customer service and effective communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina for a full shift on your feet.
• Must maintain ServSafe or State certification.
• Punctual for opening shift at 5:00am.
• Knowledge/training in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR).

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughnuts from start to finish (prepare, fry and decorate)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of fryers and manage inventory of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
• Help front of house by providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
• Help direct in additional duties such as, sweeping, dishes, or garbage.
