Job summary

Rich Products Corporation, a global family-owned food company, is seeking a manufacturing associate in Murfreesboro, TN to mix dough batches, adjust formulas, and maintain quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and at least one year in a manufacturing setting, with forklift certification often needed. Overtime is an essential function, and GMP compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Special certification may be required for use of forklift and chemicals.
• Knowledge, skills, and ability to operate computer programs as needed.
• One year experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Medium to high degree of judgment required.
• Basic math skills necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mixing dough by batches by following established formulas using various Mixers.
• Adjusts formulas according to conditions.
• Loads by hand bulk materials and hand scales small ingredients.
• Controls temperature and consistency of the dough.
• Set-up and changes over equipment.
• Conduct pre-ops and maintain GMP compliance.
• Report and address GMP violations and safety issues.
• Record accurate documentation and maintain house-keeping at all times.
