Job summary

Douds Stone, LLC is seeking an experienced technician to repair and maintain heavy machinery at our southeast Iowa locations. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.

We offer CDL-required responsibilities with assistance to obtain the license. Expect a 5-day work week with 10-hour shifts and comprehensive insurance benefits including medical, vision, life, disability, and vacation.

Qualifications

Company Info Douds Stone, LLC is a southeast Iowa business. We have been in business for 90 years providing quality rock, sand, gravel and limestone to our customers. Currently Douds Stone, LLC has 12 open pit quarries and 2 sand operations. Our locations stretch from Eddyville, IA to Wever, IA and as far north as Keswick, IA.

Repair and maintain heavy machinery and mechanical equipment. Examine mechanical equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Adjust, clean, and lubricate parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Has working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical/scientific methods or operational processes. Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise. Will work 5 10 hour days. CDL is required for this position and we will help obtain. Pay ranges from $24-$28 per hour based on experience.

Quarry experience would be a plus.
