Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes for the highest quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Your Job Summary

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
