Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Texas is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to work under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes, maintaining the highest standard of resident care.

The role requires English communication, CMA certification, and prior patient care experience is preferred. Schedule is 7am-7pm with double weekend shift differential for eligible shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Your Job Summary
