Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate a tractor-trailer delivering to store locations across our routes. This full-time role offers a home daily schedule with a five-day work week and no weekend shifts, and it includes safety incentives and performance-based raises.

The position emphasizes compliance with DOT regulations, loading with pallet jacks, and maintaining accurate logs and inspections.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
• Must possess a current Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Must maintain the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 8 tractor-trailer to deliver routes safely and on time.
• Use electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load/unload.
• Follow routes and schedules for efficient deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and log Hours of Service.
• Secure loads, doors, and alarms; verify deliveries and handle returns.
• Assist with additional routes as needed.

Potential first year earnings of $87,037.24 based upon average route hours; actual annual earnings may vary based upon length of route.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate a commercial Class 8 tractor-trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
• Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set timeframes.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service (HOS) logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
• Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
