Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Public Project Engineer to support our nationwide Department of Transportation business. You will review project plans, perform takeoffs, and collaborate with sales to prepare accurate quotes and submittals.

Responsibilities include identifying bidding opportunities, coordinating materials, updating Salesforce and Power BI reports, and ensuring DOT specifications are met. A Civil/Construction degree and 2–5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related technical degree
• 2–5 years of industry experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand DOT specs

Responsibilities

• Use online bid resources to identify opportunities and contractors
• Collaborate with ADS sales to determine materials for DOT projects
• Prepare project takeoffs and assist with submittals
• Facilitate quote requests to meet customer needs
• Track project progress in Salesforce and update Power BI reports
• Ensure quoted materials meet DOT specifications
