Qualificações

• Class B license required for Mechanic III.
• Two-year automotive or diesel/industrial equipment technology curriculum.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Master technology program substitution allowed for the 2-year curriculum and experience.
• Mechanic II requires Class A permit by the first day of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Repair vehicles and equipment to keep them ready for use.
• Diagnose and repair fleet trucks and DOT equipment.
• Install components to equipment and vehicles (radios, safety lighting, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair automotive systems including brakes, engines, and electronics.
• Install 2-way radios and design wiring schematics for accessories.
• Repair heavy trucks and equipment including brakes, hydraulics, and diesel engines.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform snow removal when required.
• Maintain shop tools, area, and Fleet Focus records.
