Job summary

Harcros Chemicals is seeking a DOT Driver Trainer and Compliance professional based in Kansas City, KS, with frequent travel to other locations. The role leads the development and delivery of comprehensive driver training, ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations.

Responsibilities include materials development, performance evaluation, and coordination with HR and operations to maintain accurate driver training records and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• 5+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience, including HazMat and over-the-road experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hazardous Materials, Hours of Service, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and manage driver training programs for HazMat drivers.
• Maintain training materials and company procedures.
• Evaluate driver performance and provide coaching and remedial training.
• Monitor Hours of Service and fleet safety technology usage.
• Prepare reports on training, safety, and compliance activities.
