Job summary

Harcros Chemicals is seeking a DOT Driver Trainer and Compliance professional to develop and deliver comprehensive training for commercial HazMat drivers. The role collaborates with Transportation, Risk Management, and HR to ensure adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA requirements.

Based in Kansas City, KS, it requires frequent travel to other company locations to conduct training and maintain driver qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hazardous Materials, Hours of Service, and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Experience training and coaching commercial drivers to meet regulatory standards.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations and translate them into practical training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver initial, recurrent, classroom, and behind-the-wheel training for HazMat drivers.
• Maintain driver training materials and Harcros procedures.
• Evaluate driver performance and provide coaching and remedial training.
• Support training on Hours of Service, ELDs, and fleet safety tech.
• Monitor compliance data and identify training needs.
• Maintain training and certification records per requirements.
• Assist with Driver Qualification files in collaboration with HR.
