Harcros Chemicals, based in Kansas City, KS, is seeking a DOT Driver Trainer and Compliance professional to design and deliver extensive HazMat driver training in line with DOT/FMCSA and 49 CFR regulations. This role requires frequent travel to multiple locations and collaboration with Transportation, Risk Management, HR, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL with HazMat/Tanker, 5+ years of driving and training experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven coaching

Qualifications

• Education or experience in commercial driving with HazMat credentials.
• At least 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, Hazardous Materials, and OSHA requirements.
• Experience using ELDs, telematics, and safety technology.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and documentation skills.
• Ability to read regulations and translate into training.
• Proficiency with common office software.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver driver training for HazMat drivers per DOT/FMCSA rules.
• Maintain driver training materials and Harcros procedures.
• Evaluate driver performance through road tests and ride-alongs.
• Support Hours of Service and ELD compliance programs.
• Maintain training records and certifications.
• Travel to Harcros facilities to conduct trainings.
