Job summary

Cable-East, Inc. is seeking a DOT Driver & Traffic Control Laborer to safely operate DOT trucks and support traffic control at Georgia job sites. The role requires compliance with DOT driving standards and knowledge of MUTCD.

The position is full-time, with a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Travel within Georgia is expected; overnight stays may be required based on project needs. Fluency in English is preferred, and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with clean record.
• DOT English language proficiency requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices per TCPs and regulations.
• Operate DOT trucks to job sites and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT logs and driver documentation as required.
• Assist with general construction labor duties and site cleanup.
