PCM Services in Beltsville, MD is seeking a dependable DOT Driver to join the Landscape team. You will operate DOT-regulated trucks with trailers to transport materials between job sites and support skilled tradespeople as needed.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a DOT medical card, and a clean driving record. You must pass a background check and drug test, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

PCM Services is a leading commercial contractor based in Beltsville, MD, serving the DC/Baltimore metro area. We specialize in providing high-quality construction services to a diverse range of clients. As part of our growth strategy, we are currently seeking a dependable and experienced DOT Driver to join our Landscape team. This position requires operating trucks with trailers attached to transport materials, tools, or equipment between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DOT-regulated trucks with trailers attached.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Ensure secure loading, unloading, and transportation of equipment or materials.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding job progress, delays, or concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles and trailers.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist in implementing landscaping or construction plans.
• Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks as needed.
• Perform seasonal duties, including shoveling snow and applying ice melt on walkways.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• Available to work early morning, daytime, and night shifts, with flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Have a reliable form of transportation
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Experience operating DOT-regulated trucks with trailers attached.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
