Job summary

MD Landscaping is seeking a CDL Driver to join our growing team. The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks and equipment to support landscape construction and maintenance operations.

When not driving, you may assist crews with basic site tasks to support project efficiency. The role requires delivering materials to job sites on time, adhering to DOT and company safety standards, and maintaining logs and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license is required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Experience operating dump trucks, trailers, and hauling equipment.
• Ability to load, secure, and transport landscape materials.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, pre-trip inspections, and log requirements.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Positive attitude and reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL‑required vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites according to daily schedules.
• Load and unload trucks using loaders, forklifts, or similar equipment.
• Inspect vehicles daily and maintain logs and safety documentation.
• Assist landscape crews with site cleanup and material staging.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and professional conduct at job sites.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe work practices.

Position Summary

MD Landscaping is seeking a seeking a CDL Driver to join our growing team.

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks and equipment to support landscape construction and maintenance operations. This role ensures materials, tools, and machinery are delivered to job sites accurately, on time, and in compliance with all DOT and company safety standards. When not driving, the CDL Driver may assist crews with basic site tasks as needed to support project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL‑required vehicles, including dump trucks, water trucks, and trailers, in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport materials such as soil, mulch, rock, and equipment to and from job sites according to daily schedules.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., loaders, forklifts) while ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
• Inspect vehicles daily, reporting mechanical issues and ensuring all logs, maintenance records, and safety documentation are accurate.
• Assist landscape crews with site cleanup, material staging, and basic labor tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and uphold professional conduct at job sites and client properties.
• Follow all safety protocols and support a culture of safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (depending on company needs).
• Clean driving record meeting company and insurance requirements.
• Experience operating dump trucks, trailers, and hauling equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely load, secure, and transport landscape materials and machinery.
• Strong understanding of DOT rules, daily pre‑trip inspections, and log requirements.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability in daily operations.
