Job summary

Delta Utilities in New Orleans seeks a Compliance Coordinator to manage DOT drug and alcohol programs, driver safety initiatives, and FMCSA compliance. Travel is expected to range from 10% to 25% based on business needs.

The role supports company-wide safety and compliance activities and collaborates with internal teams and vendors. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA compliance, strong auditing skills, and proficiency with Excel dashboards to monitor program

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of DOT/FMCSA/PHMSA or related regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience auditing programs and maintaining regulatory documentation.
• Ability to interpret regulations and identify compliance gaps.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and dashboards for program reporting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate positions for inclusion in DOT programs and ensure compliance.
• Serve as data liaison with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Audit records for regulatory compliance and accuracy.
• Assist driver qualification file development and updates.
• Communicate missing documents and compliance issues to supervisors.
• Develop monthly dashboards and reports with the EHS Analyst.
• Conduct FMCSA audits of field operations and maintain schedules.
• Support general safety audits and PHMSA/FMCSA compliance work.
• Collaborate on audit schedules with compliance teams.
• Administer PHMSA and FMCSA drug/alcohol programs per CFR parts.
• Manage employee random pools and testing schedules.
• Act as SME for non-negative results and testing determinations.
• Review and update processes, plans, and training materials.
• Review invoices related to compliance programs.
