Job summary

UNC Health in North Carolina is seeking part-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners to join UNC Health Medical Group’s urgent care clinics across multiple locations. You will treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health exams as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The position offers flexible, part-time schedules with on-site work at multiple NC locations. Candidates must have NP licensure in NC or be eligible, plus DOT certification and OSHA knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must see patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required.
