Job summary

Qualifications
- Must be DOT inspection certified mechanic with 3–5 years of tank trailer repair experience.
- Experience diagnosing failures on mechanical, electrical, or other systems on tank trailers.
- Knowledge of tank service and repair, trailer suspension, and air brake systems.
- Welding experience (TIG aluminum/stainless or carbon) is optional but a plus.
- Ability to inspect tanks and trailers to DOT HM183 hazmat standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and perform repairs on tank trailers and related systems.
- Carry out tank service and repair work.
- Install/repair trailer suspensions and components.
- Repair air brake systems and related components.
- Welding as needed (TIG aluminum/stainless or carbon).
- Inspect tanks and trailers for DOT HM183 compliance.
