Job summary

AltaMed Health Services in Monterey Park, CA, is seeking a DOT-CDL driver to provide fixed route transportation for our Transportation Department. This role also covers specialty appointments during downtime and supports clients needing transportation to and from home to PACE Center facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a California Class B license with P endorsement, a clean driving record in the last three years, at least two years of driving experience, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• California Class B license with P endorsement required.
• Clean driving record in past 3 years.
• Minimum two years driving experience; geriatric population experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain LA DOT city permit.
• Valid BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department.
• Cover specialty appointments during fixed routes downtime.
• Assist clients with transportation to and from home to PACE Center facilities.
• Comply with all DOT regulations.
