Job summary

AltaMed Health Services seeks a professional driver to provide fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department and cover specialty appointments during downtime. The role requires a California Class B CDL with P endorsement, a clean driving record, and at least two years of driving experience, with geriatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid California Class B driver’s license with P endorsement and a clean driving record in the past 3 years.
• Minimum two years of driving experience; geriatric/frail elderly population experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain an LA DOT city permit and a valid BLS certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide fixed route coverage for the Transportation Department.
• Cover for specialty appointments during fixed-route downtime.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and ensure safe transportation to/from home and PACE Center facilities.
