Job summary

LAUKOA in Charleston, SC seeks a Dormitory Manager to oversee dormitory housekeeping and guest services for up to 750 residents. You will lead staff, manage housing operations, and coordinate with the Visitor Control Center to ensure smooth room assignments and readiness.

You will implement SOPs, ensure safety and sanitation, maintain records, and provide training to staff while meeting DHS requirements and contract obligations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead large teams across shifts and holidays.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and basic computer operations (email, scheduling, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Oversee dormitory operations across all buildings to ensure high-quality housing services.
• Plan and schedule housekeeping, laundry, janitorial, desk operations, and student registration.
• Supervise staff and ensure 24/7 coverage when required.
• Maintain records, logs, inventories, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with SOPs and PWS standards.
