Alaska Technical Center seeks a Dorm Attendant to provide on-site supervision and support to trainees residing in the dormitory. You will assist residents with concerns, monitor building security, and enforce all dormitory policies to maintain a safe, orderly living environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with the local community and resources, and a valid Alaska driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in dormitory, hotel, or similar operations preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site supervision and support to trainees residing in the Dormitory.
• Assist dormitory residents with concerns or problems and refer unresolved items to the Dormitory Supervisor for action.
• Responsible for monitoring building security and enforcing all policies, procedures, and rules of the ATC dormitory.
• Exercising mature judgment in handling disturbances and violations of dormitory rules in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide detailed, accurate reports of all incidents occurring during assigned duty hours.
• Provide changes to residents for phone, laundry, vending machines.
• Maintain accurate records of change fund.
• Perform custodial tasks as required to maintain a clean and healthful environment during all duty hours.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilitiesincludebutarenotlimitedtothefollowing:
• Provideon-sitesupervisionandsupporttotraineesresidingintheDormitory.
• AssistdormitoryresidentswithanyconcernsorproblemsandreferunresolveditemstotheDormitorySupervisorfor action.
• Responsibleformonitoringbuildingsecurityandenforcingallpolicies,procedures,andrulesoftheATCdormitory.
• ExercisematurejudgmentinhandlingdisturbancesandviolationsofDormitoryrulesinaccordancewithestablishedpolicies and procedures.

LENGTH OF POSITION:

7.5 hours per day, 190 days per school year

SALARY:

Range 10 / Step 01, $26.88 / hour
