Job summary

AERRC in Kotzebue, AK is seeking a Dorm Attendant to provide on-site supervision and support for residents in the ATC Dormitory. The role entails ensuring a safe, clean living environment and addressing resident concerns under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision and support to trainees residing in the dormitory.
• Assist dormitory residents with concerns and refer unresolved items to the Dormitory Supervisor.
• Monitor building security and enforce all dormitory policies and rules.
• Exercise mature judgment in handling disturbances and violations of dormitory rules per policies.

JOB GOAL:

ProvisionofDormitoryAttendantservicesforresidentsoftheATCDormitory.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provideon-sitesupervisionandsupporttotraineesresidingintheDormitory.
2. AssistdormitoryresidentswithanyconcernsorproblemsandreferunresolveditemstotheDormitorySupervisorfor action.
3. Responsibleformonitoringbuildingsecurityandenforcingallpolicies,procedures,andrulesoftheATCdormitory.
4. ExercisematurejudgmentinhandlingdisturbancesandviolationsofDormitoryrulesinaccordancewithestablishedpolicies and procedures.
5. Providedetailed,accuratereportsofallincidentsoccurringduringassigneddutyhours.
6. Providechangetoresidentsforphone,laundry,vendingmachines.
7. Maintainsaccuraterecordsofchangefund.
8. Performcustodialtasksasrequiredtomaintainacleanandhealthfulenvironmentduringalldutyhours.
9. Otherdutiesassignedbysupervisor.

LENGTH OF POSITION:

7.5 hours per day, 190 days per school year

SALARY:

Range 10 / Step 01, $26.88 / hour
