Job summary
Summertown Metals, LLC is seeking a hands-on Lead for our Doors & Windows Installation team. You will supervise field crews, ensure installations meet codes, and drive quality workmanship on every project.
The role requires physical fitness, ladder safety awareness, and strong communication with customers and coordinators. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position offering medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, PTO and vacation.
Qualifications
- Experience leading installation teams and delivering quality work.
- Ability to install doors and windows to code and quality standards.
- Strong communication with customers, coordinators and supervisors.
- Comfort with loading and organizing tools/materials before job sites.
- Ability to document field work clearly in Builder Trend.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Doors & Windows Installation team.
- Ensure installations meet code and quality standards.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Prepare and load tools/materials before each job.
- Document punch work with photos and notes in Builder Trend.
- Communicate obstacles and progress to supervisors or coordinators.
