Job summary

Metrie is hiring a Machine Operator for the Orlando facility. The role supports daily production targets by operating door machinery and ensuring high-quality interior finishing products.

Reports to the Production Supervisor and contributes to safety and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have prior door machinery experience, be able to stand/walk for long periods, and demonstrate a cooperative, safety‑minded attitude in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating door machinery.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Commitment to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Produce products meeting work order specifications with high quality.
• Operate machinery and equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Support plant continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure production meets IFOTIS – In Full, On Time, In Spec.
• Cross-train with other production line departments.
• Follow health and safety policies and regulations.
