Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator to join our door manufacturing team. You will work on a cross-functional crew, rotating positions to support throughput and quality on the line.

The role requires pre-operation checks, loading components, and operating basic hand/power tools. The ideal candidate will have at least one year in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a background check and drug screen, and lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Pre-operation machine inspection- load screws and hinges.
• Sort and push door stacks down the conveyor tracks.
• Use mallet to loosen doors. Load hinge machine with bifold door panels for hinging. Inspect and ensure hardware aligned and applied correctly prior to push off.
• Pull off cullboards, change bits, restock rails/assist.
• Reject doors are directed to repair and remakes requested.
• LOTO certified and use of air gun during clean up.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bending, constant twisting while carrying product, stooping, pushing, and standing for long continuous hours is required.
