Job summary

OBE is seeking a Machine Operator 1 in the Door Building Department to support the production of high-quality doors in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare materials, assemble door units, and help ensure safety and efficiency on the line.

Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing and be capable of reading work orders, using measuring devices, and working overtime as needed. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement in a structured facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, production schedules, and assembly drawings.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices accurately, including tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and cutting equipment to cut door frame components according to specs and orders.
• Pull, verify, and stage hardware and materials for door assembly.
• Assemble door units according to specifications and production schedules.
• Read and interpret work orders and paperwork to ensure accurate completion.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality and defects throughout assembly.
