Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Knowledge of door types, brands and hardware is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Accurate math and tape measure reading for precise installs.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors and hardware.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues, including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware such as locks, closers, and access control.
• Ensure safety and building code compliance on all installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs and installations.
• Diagnose issues and offer cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks to meet company standards.
