Job summary

Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill is seeking reliable, guest-friendly Door Security team members to help maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll check IDs, manage the door, and ensure smooth, safe shifts while delivering confident, professional service.

You’ll greet guests, enforce age rules, handle cover charges when applicable, de-escalate situations, and collaborate with staff to uphold safety policies; 21+ required, security experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and situational awareness skills.
• Ability to stay calm, respectful, and in control during high-pressure situations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Dependability and a team-first attitude.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in bar/venue security is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, respectful presence at the door.
• Check IDs and enforce age requirements with accuracy and professionalism.
• Collect and manage cover charges (when applicable), handling cash responsibly.
• Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment.
• De-escalate situations and address issues before they become problems.
• Work closely with managers and staff to uphold all safety and conduct policies.
• Assist with general cleanliness and safety on the floor during busy shifts.
