Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to support door manufacturing operations. You will load and unload doors or raw materials, assemble components, and move finished products along the plant efficiently while rotating tasks to build versatility.

Applicants should have up to one year of manufacturing experience or a willingness to learn, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, read work orders, and follow safety rules. A background check may be required.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to read order specs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload doors or raw materials as needed.
• Assemble, craft, and move doors throughout the process.
• Perform quality checks to meet specs.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work area.
• Read production schedules and support workflow.
• Maintain downtime records and communicate with team.
