Role Description

The Door Installation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL. This position is responsible for installing interior and exterior doors, including measuring openings, preparing frames, and ensuring proper alignment, operation, and finish. Daily tasks include reading plans or work orders, selecting appropriate hardware and materials, performing minor adjustments or repairs, and coordinating with supervisors and other trades on active job sites. The Door Installation Specialist will maintain a clean, safe work area, follow company safety guidelines, and document work completed. The role may also support related millwork and surface improvement tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in door installation, including measuring, fitting, hardware installation, and final adjustments.
• Experience working on construction or high rising sites, with basic knowledge of carpentry, millwork, and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic drawings, and measurements, and to follow project specifications accurately.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, clients, and other trades.
• Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Previous experience in door installation, carpentry, or renovation work preferred; relevant certifications or training are a plus.
