Job summary

Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, CA seeks a DPS Door Technician I to assist with projects involving installation and maintenance of metal and wood doors and related hardware. You will inspect facilities for safety, participate in preventive maintenance, and coordinate with administration and other trades to complete work orders efficiently, including potential night/weekend shifts as needed.

Minimum two years’ experience in commercial door and hardware.
College and/or professional trade training is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Inspects facilities, systems, and components for safety and necessary repairs.
Participates in preventive maintenance programs.
Welding of door and frame applications, plus installation and modification as needed.
Coordinates with administration and trades to complete work orders efficiently.
Communicates status of work orders to ensure proper action and safety compliance.
Responds to emergencies during or after hours to resolve safety concerns.
Maintains doors in good working condition and adheres to fire code and ADA requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
