Pechanga Resort Casino is seeking a DPS Door Technician I to assist with the installation and maintenance of doors, metal and wood, and related hardware. The role emphasizes safety, quality standards, and coordination with other trades to complete project/work orders efficiently.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in commercial door and hardware, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
The DPS Door Technician I will assist with project work involving the installations of doors, metal, wood doors, and related hardware.
All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.
A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. A minimum two years’ experience in commercial door and hardware. College and/or professional trade training is highly desired.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of the organization. Must be able to understand the English language and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to work with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
