Job summary

Himmel’s Architectural Door and Hardware in New Orleans, LA is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. You will sell door and hardware products and services to walk‑in and phone customers, supporting a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Work hours are Monday–Thursday 7am–4:30pm and Friday 7am–3:30pm, with competitive compensation, bonuses, medical/dental/vision coverage, and paid time off. Prior experience in commercial doors and hardware is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment both independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and customer service focus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screen and random drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with door and hardware needs by explaining features and referring service calls to Maintenance.
• Answer customers’ questions and send information regarding Himmel’s products via email, chat, and phone.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a smooth sales transaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
