Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) designs and manufactures hollow metal and wood door products, providing engineering support and documentation for architectural projects across North America. The role focuses on CAD shop drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications and tight project timelines.

You will coordinate with the engineering team and project managers, review designs, and help drive new product development while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent with two years of additional computer training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Must have knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and contract specifications
• AutoCAD (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assists with the research, design, and implementation of projects
• Performs engineering project support functions
• Conducts research to determine manufacturability, ease of assembly
• Assists in review and creation of documentation
• Assist management with Research and Development of new products and processes as needed
