Job summary

Tri City Glass & Door is seeking a Service Installer to safely complete installation and repair of glass products, door hardware, locks, and related systems. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You will read work orders, measure, cut, fabricate in the field, communicate with customers and the scheduling team, maintain truck stock, and follow safety procedures. ESOP and generous benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, tape measures, levels, power tools, etc.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces.
• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or scaffolding.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve.
• Ability to work out of town overnight, occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete installation or repair for glass products and door hardware.
• Read and understand work orders, shop drawings, and architectural plans.
• Discuss and review customer orders to ensure materials are available.
• Fulfill work orders to satisfy customer service requirements.
• Measure, cut, and fabricate in the field for top-quality installations.
• Maintain a neat truck and work area and restock as needed.
• Travel to sites within assigned territories; report delays or early arrivals.
