Job summary

Lumbermens in Byron Center, MI is seeking an assembly worker to assist with the production of exterior doors. Responsibilities include ensuring quality and accuracy in the assembly process, collaborating with production teams, and performing inspections and touch-ups as necessary.

The role requires a High School diploma and prior construction experience. Strong communication skills and safety practices are essential. Benefits include medical insurance, a clothing allowance, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior construction experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of assembly exterior doors.
• Working with all teams of production to assemble exterior doors.
• Paint and stain touch up of trim and brickmold.
• Inspection and touch up of sidelites and door panels as needed.
• Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of assigned work area.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
