Job summary

Lumbermen’s, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, invites you to join our Byron Center, MI location as a Door Assembly Associate. You will assist in the production of interior and exterior wood and composite doors, install glass, stage materials, and help keep areas organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Prior woodworking experience is a plus; router, miter saws, table saws.
• Experience in cabinet manufacturing or trim carpentry is a plus.
• Knowledge of exterior doors is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install glass and door components.
• Ensure proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all doors.
• Properly stage all doors for production or shipping.
• Assist finish department to ensure the highest quality finished product.
• Maintain the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the door area, assigned by the Supervisor.
• Ensure that all production areas are properly supplied for the day’s work.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
