Job summary

WSI Talent in Michigan is seeking a Production Associate to help build custom doors and entry systems for schools, hospitals, and public buildings nationwide. This hands-on role requires reading templates, precise measuring, and teamwork in a climate-controlled shop.

You will read templates, square frames, run equipment including CNC machinery, inspect parts, and move products through each production stage. Starting pay is $17/hour with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read a tape measure to 1/32 inch.
• Speak, write, and read basic English.
• Safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude; basic math including fractions & ratios.
• Lift up to 70 pounds with assistance.
• Work on your feet and as part of a team; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom door frames using hand and power tools.
• Read templates and measurements to 1/32 inch.
• Operate upstream equipment including CNC machinery.
• Inspect parts and keep product flowing to the next stage.
• Maintain a climate controlled shop and safe work practices.
• Cross-train into multiple departments.
