Job summary

Power Drives, Inc., a Buffalo-based manufacturer of custom‑engineered hose, tube, and fluid conveyance systems, seeks a hands-on manufacturing teammate to cut, end form, de-burr, test, assemble and bend tubular components. The environment is climate controlled and 100% onsite.

Minimum requirements include 1 year in manufacturing and a high school diploma or equivalent. Responsibilities include following work instructions, quality checks, teamwork, and safety compliance in a production setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a production setting
• Attention to quality, safety, and safty procedures
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints

Responsibilities

• Follow all work instructions and procedures
• Strive to meet or exceed quantity and quality expectations
• Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictates
• Perform quality checks and preventative equipment maintenance
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement efforts
• Inform group leader of equipment, process, material, safety, or quality concerns
• Participate in daily area cleanup and facility-wide cleanup
• Consult product blueprints and technical data sheets as required
• Set up machinery and properly use protractors and fixtures
• Ensure completed product and leftovers are returned to proper locations
• Execute assignments as directed by the Tube Fabrication Group Leader or superiors
