Job summary

Interbay Door LLC in Woodinville, WA is seeking Shop Personnel to support fabrication and preparation of interior and exterior doors for residential and commercial projects. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment, assisting with machining, assembly, sanding, finishing prep, and quality control to ensure products meet company standards.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with woodworking tools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a woodshop or manufacturing environment preferred (but not required).
• Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and measuring techniques.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hanging doors and working with door components.
• Operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, planers, sanders, and routers (training provided as needed).
• Sand, prep, and assemble door components prior to finishing.
• Read and follow shop drawings and work orders.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Assist with incoming orders, checking and maintaining inventory and orders.
• Assist with material handling, staging, and packaging for delivery.
• Communicate with Shop Manager regarding project status or issues.
• Assist with deliveries to customer site when needed.
