Job summary

Fernwood Property Management is seeking a part-time Door Attendant to join the Regents Park team. The 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift pays $20.35 per hour and focuses on creating welcoming experiences for residents and guests.

You will greet residents, assist with service needs, and ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure in the building, while maintaining strong front desk operations and security procedures.

Qualifications

• People person who creates welcoming experiences.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with front desk equipment including computer and telephone systems; Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and anticipate needs, delivering professional, courteous service.
• Create memorable experiences with a welcoming personality.
• Know building procedures, features, and security practices.
• Ensure building access security and verify IDs for entry.
• Report hazards, risks, or accidents and submit maintenance/housekeeping requests as needed.
• Handle package deliveries by logging and logging items for residents.
• Answer phones, forward calls and take messages as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking to hire a part-time Door Attendant to join the Regents Park team! The shift for this role is 11p-7:30a with a pay rate of $20.35/hour.

As a Door Attendant, you will be an integral member of the team that createsauthentic experiences for our Residents and their guests.The Door Attendant is the first point of contact for residents and guests entering the building. You will warmly and enthusiastically greet arriving residents and guests, assist them withtheir residential service needs,and ensure they are comfortable and feel welcome.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enthusiastically welcome our residents and guests, anticipate their needs, provide professional and courteous service, and respond promptly and professionally.
• Creates memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality.
• Develops a thorough knowledge of building procedures, features, and security practices.

• Ensures security protocol is adhered to regarding granting building access and verifying identification of individuals requesting entry into the building.

• Reports any building hazards, risks, or accidents as required. Submits service requests for any maintenance/housekeeping issues.
• Handles package deliveries by accepting and logging packages for residents.
• Answers the telephone, forward calls and take messages when necessary.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
• Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate professionally and through legible writing
• Experience. 1-2 years of previous experience passionately providing customer service to others.
• Requires basic knowledge of front desk equipment, including computer and telephone systems. Yardi experience is a plus.
