Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, value-added components and building services, invites you to start an entry-level role performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs.

You will move between workstations, read simple instructions, cut products to measurements, fasten parts, and operate on an assembly line with safety at the forefront; overtime may be involved.

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required.
• Prior carpentry experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cuts products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines to perform fastening operations on the assembly line.
• Works at different workstations as production needs require.
• Complies with safety procedures and keeps work areas clean.
