Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level assembler to perform repetitive assembly to mass-produce windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs in a busy plant environment.

The role involves following simple instructions and using basic measurement tools to ensure parts fit together accurately. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and work with hands-on assembly equipment, with PPE provided and safety rules strictly followed.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Prior carpentry experience helpful.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Cut products to specific measurements as needed.
• Removes defective products as needed.
• Tends machines on the assembly line to perform fastening operations.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
