Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply in Moberly, MO is seeking a General Labor team member to support assembly and fabrication of doors, windows and related items in a warehouse setting. The role requires attention to safety protocols and physical stamina.

Responsibilities include cutting, assembling and stocking materials, operating a forklift, and assisting with inventory. A high school diploma or GED is required; carpentry experience is a plus; willingness to work outside normal hours helps meet customer

Qualifications

• Reads and writes to follow shipping papers and instructions.
• Analytical thinking to solve problems.
• Able to pass forklift operator test after training.
• Experience with basic woodworking and metalworking tools.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Cut, screw, staple, nail, glue, caulk and assemble wood, metal and glass into door/window units.
• Stock inbound materials.
• Inspect, maintain and clean equipment regularly.
• Load outbound materials onto company and customer vehicles.
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials.
• Sweep and clean facilities.
• Observe safety rules (glasses, ear plugs, LOTO).
• Assist in inventory counting.
