Job summary

US LBM Holdings in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Door Assembler I. You will work on a pre-hung door assembly line, stocking doors and components, and assembling parts under supervision.

The role requires reading a tape measure, using a hammer, and operating standard shop equipment. Overtime may be required, with a focus on safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior carpentry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a pre-hung door assembly line.
• Stock doors, frames, plates and stock components for door assembly.
• Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
• Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized.
• Assist in the set-up of component assembly process.
• Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed.
• Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
• Adhere to established safety rules and procedures; maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Assist in keeping bays and staging areas clean and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
• Retain awareness of the work environment to produce error-free results.
• Participate in assigned trainings.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

The Door Assembler I is responsible for assembling pre-hung door components. This person will stock lumber, plates and other work-related materials and supplies, and will also band/stack finished products.

Pay Range

: $20.50 - $25.00/hour

What you will do

Education Qualifications

• Available for overtime as needed.
