Job summary

The Donor Transporter role at Southwest Transplant Alliance provides non-emergency ground transportation support for donors, recovery teams, and STA personnel. You will ensure safe and timely transport of organs, specimens, equipment, and documentation across the STA service area.

Candidates should have EMS/EMT experience, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all transport and custody processes; the position requires 12-hour shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; and a combination of alternative education and experience may be considered.
• Current Driver's License with acceptable driving record per STA policy is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with internal staff and external partners to facilitate safe transportation.
• Respond to Logistics Coordinator inquiries within 15 minutes during scheduled work hours.
• Plan and follow the most efficient travel routes for all assignments.
• Safely transport donors, organs, and equipment within STA's designated service area.
• Complete vehicle maintenance checklists and maintain vehicle cleanliness and refuel after use.
