Job summary

The Blood Center is hiring for a Driver/Medical Screener (Hammond and New Orleans) in a full-time role. You will operate large vehicles to mobile drive sites, assist with setup/teardown, and support donor flow while learning medical screening procedures.

Ideal candidates have a valid CDL with airbrake certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience driving large vehicles. Strong customer relations and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage donor flow.

Responsibilities

• Represent The Blood Center professionally and follow all policies.
• Drive buses to mobile drive sites and assist with setup and teardown.
• Support donor flow and determine donor acceptability.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and learn medical screening.
