Job summary

Children's National Hospital Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns and events. You will support donor meetings, tours, and communications while maintaining donor data and delivering high-quality materials.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, with proficiency in MS Office and donor management tools. Some evenings/weekends may be required; a vehicle is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 2 years related fundraising or development experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work with donors and prepare materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects and donors.
• Participate in in-person/virtual donor visits under management direction.
• Host tours to prospective donors and ensure donor stewardship post meetings.
• Draft fundraising materials, briefings, and presentations independently.
• Coordinate sections of large projects and manage deadlines.
• Enter and track donor information to inform strategies.
• Provide writing/editing support for proposals and reports.
• Support donor communications and data clean-up in systems.
