Job summary

K-LOVE & Air1 in Franklin, Tennessee is seeking a Donor Services Specialist. This role involves serving as the first point of contact for donors, handling inquiries, and providing support to deepen donor relationships.

Overview

Ministry moves at the speed of generosity! You are naturally a caring and relational person, but you know how to balance that with getting to the work at hand; juggling multiple tasks and priorities, all while providing top-notch service to each and every donor. You're the first point of contact for donors who have questions about their accounts, helping them navigate their way through their accounts, answering questions, supporting their goals, and providing guidance along the way. Knowing that every interaction with a donor is an opportunity to deepen relationships, build trust, and make a positive impact!

To succeed as a Donor Services Specialist you will:

  • Be extremely detail oriented, organized, thorough, and efficient.
  • Have a high work ethic and desire to help others on your team.
  • Thrive in an environment of over-the-top customer service by being highly relational and consistently empathetic.
  • Truly desire to pick up the phone and take inbound as well as make outbound calls to donors. (90% of your day is on the phone)
  • Be comfortable and satisfied, sitting 6+ hours a day.
  • Be flexible moving between computer and manual processes.
  • Be social, relational, caring, with others, but we do have a lot to accomplish, so able to balance that with getting to the work at hand.
  • Can identify potential capacity in a donor for increased engagement opportunities.
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills (ability to write in our brand voice).
  • Be experienced in MS Office Products and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Be donor passionate, donor centric

Experience and Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service, administrative support, or donor-facing experience preferred.
  • Experience with CRM or database systems highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in processing information, managing records, and completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and protocols.
  • Sound judgment in handling confidential information and discerning sensitive donor matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent Ministry professionally and maintain listener confidentiality.
